Maramoja have partnered with Musoni, a micro finance institution and they plan to offer drivers in the programme loans to purchase their own vehicles. By logging into www.maramoja.co.ke on their mobile phone or desktop computers clients can find out the exact charges to their destination, see the face and name of the taxi driver and their credentials. They have divided Nairobi into 99 zones through the help of Upande Limited, a company that specialises in web mapping and GIS.
