Since the launch of Musoni in 2009, we always been grateful for the support and assistance that we’ve received from our partner Hivos, both in Amsterdam and in Kenya. Indeed the relationship has been so strong that Samuel Ndonga, our initial point of contact with Hivos Nairobi (now supporting Chase Bank on their development of agricultural value chain business model), chose to base his Business Study on Musoni Kenya.
The study looks at the way in which Musoni pioneered the use of technology in microfinance, and by doing so generated significant cost savings for both clients, and the organisation as a whole. It focusses on the lessons learnt as well as the challenges encountered, acting as a valuable point of reference for other organisations looking to embrace technology. We thoroughly recommend it!
