Over the last 12 months, MFIs in Myanmar have been forced to adapt to the challenges of COVID-19, restricting the amount of contact with end customers. At the same time, a consumer shift towards e-commerce and the rapid adoption of digital financial services means that the time is right for MFIs to digitalise their operations. During Digital Microfinance 2020 we will cover the challenges and opportunities of digitalisation in Myanmar, a recommended roadmap for an MFI looking to go digital, upskilling for the digital era, shared services for transformation and more.
