ACEP Madagascar Partners with Musoni to Enhance Financial Services for Micro-Companies and SMEs

ACEP Madagascar, a prominent microfinance institution (MFI) serving micro-companies and SMEs, has embraced the Musoni System to bolster its operations. This strategic move aligns with ACEP Group’s digital innovation strategy, making ACEP Madagascar the second MFI within the group to adopt Musoni, following ACEP Burkina Faso.

Since its inception in 1995, ACEP Madagascar has played a vital role in the microfinance industry, serving populations typically excluded from the traditional financial system. By adopting the Musoni System, ACEP Madagascar aims to enhance its service delivery and leverage digital advancements to reach and empower even more underserved individuals and businesses across Madagascar. This partnership signifies ACEP Madagascar’s commitment to staying at the forefront of financial inclusion and embracing innovative solutions to support economic growth in the region.

According to ACEP Madagascar’s Managing Director, Mr. Mahefa Randriamiarisoa, the institution’s decision to partner with Musoni System was driven by the need to improve their operations and provide better services to their clients. He said, “We believe that technology is a key driver for financial inclusion, and adopting the Musoni System will allow us to provide better and more efficient services to our clients. With this platform, we will be able to improve our loan disbursement process, reduce costs, and offer more tailored financial products to our clients.”

Musoni’s Head of Product, Martijn Deddens, expressed his excitement about the partnership, saying, “We are delighted to be partnering with ACEP Madagascar in their mission to provide financial services to populations that have traditionally been excluded from the financial circuit. Musoni is designed to enable financial institutions to provide fast, affordable, and convenient financial services to underserved populations, and we are confident that ACEP Madagascar will benefit greatly from our technology.”

ACEP Madagascar’s adoption of the Musoni System is a significant move that will enhance their operations and enable them to serve its clients better. This partnership is expected to contribute to the growth and development of the Microfinance industry in Madagascar.
