What does the role involve?

As a Service Coordinator you will join our Customer Support team that is the day to day point of contact for any of our customers from all across Africa. Your daily tasks range from digging into customer problems, identifying solutions and explaining system functionality to these customers. You will report issues using Musoni’s internal support tools, providing clear explanations to members of the development team who can assist in resolving them.

As part of a young and growing company, this role is expected to evolve significantly over time. You will be encouraged to pick up new responsibilities and embrace opportunities as the company expands. You will be reporting to Sander, Musoni’s CTO.

What skills & experience do you need to apply?

The ideal candidates for this role are ambitious, motivated and outgoing. We’re looking for fast learners with the ability to think strategically and creatively, especially those who enjoy working in a fast-paced start-up environment. We like people who are flexible and have the ability to enthusiastically respond to new tasks and challenges.

As a general rule, you should have:

  • 0 to 5 years of work experience in IT support roles, or
  • Completed MBO or HBO IT studies
  • Detail-oriented
  • Hands on approach to challenges and resolving these in a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication skills in English (verbal and written)

It would also be nice if you had:

  • Experience working in support teams
  • Experience (analytical) in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in using MySQL
  • Experience in basic administration of Linux machines
